Two New Vendors Along with The Moaning Caverns Frog Unveiling, Joined Fresh Fridays in Utica Park ~By Hanna Alldrin
Angels Camp, CA....The weekly Fresh Fridays Farmers Market in Angels Camp has added two new additions to their veggies, fruit, flowers, and fun. The two new venders include: Aria Bakery in Murphys and The Main Street Cafe in Angels Camp. The farmers market is a first for both of these business's looking for expansion and to share their unique flavors with our local community. Aria Bakery has a wide variety of specialty baked goods including: pies, muffins, cookies, bread and much more....

Marilyn Richter-Bradley from Aria Bakery shared, "our most popular and tasteful treats are the coconut macaroons, peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies." While visiting the Aria booth the smell of rich black berry pies filled the air. Arias pies come in all different fruit flavors. The flavors offered this week include: black berry, blue berry, apple, and raspberry. All of which smelled absolutely delicious.
Are you looking for "Fine Food with a Home Town Feel"? Stop by the Main Street Cafe booth every week at the farmers market. Main Street Cafe is offering weekly dinner favorites for customers to sample for their upcoming August dinners in the park. This weeks menu include pulled pork and chicken wrap sandwiches.
Starting in August Main Street Cafe will be serving whole dinners in the park during Fresh Fridays. From now until August they will be offering a wide variety of food in order to achieve the perfect menu decided by our community. Manager and Head Chief Charley Rice shared, "This is a whole new adventure and we are excited to take a stab at it."
Along with the two new additions the Farmers Market had an exciting unveiling of one of the Calaveras County Frogs. The Moaning Caverns Frog is the newest addition to the many decorated frogs in Calaveras County. The caverns frog had a zip line and a repelling outfit on. If you would like to visit this frog, it will be displayed at Moaning Caverns in Murphys. The lucky beneficiary for this lovel frog will be the Calaveras Humane Society. Last years was donated by Sierra Engineering.
