Retro Test Shoot For the Gold Strike Girls ~By Hanna Alldrin
Angels Camp, CA....Today in Angels Camp, the Gold Strike Girls shot a test shoot for their upcoming "GOLD STRIKE GIRLS" 2009 Calendar. All 37 of the models were local ladies, age 21 or older, who are sponsored by local businesses. This year marks the first year of the calendars creation however, they hope for it to become a local annual tradition. Models started to arrive at 12 noon at the Pacific Financial Group building in Angels Camp where photographer Andrea Silva set up a head shot studio........
The Gold Strike Girls Calendar is a local editorial calendar, with local girls and local company sponsorships. The Gold Strike Girls have pride in their hometown, they have class as well as sass. The ages of the models who shot the test shoot ranged from 21-50 years old.
30 year old Megan Mabanag from San Andreas shared, "This is my first modeling experience, and I wanted to gratification of being a model at age 30." "We get to dress up and have fun, what could be more perfect," shared 22 year old Allison Blackwell from Arnold.

*No prior modeling experience necessary.
*All sizes, shapes, welcome. Tatoos/piercings ok.
*All models must live in Calaveras or Tuolumne County
*All models must be 21 years or older by the time of publishing.
*Business sponsors will have final approval on the model used on their page.
*Accepted models will then be invited to the Editorial shoot. Hair and Makeup will be provided.
The calendar is currently accepting sponsors for six months on the calendar, if you are interested contact Andrea at www.goldstrikegirls.com! After today's shoot the models photos will be reviewed by the local business sponsors and once they choose a model the final calendar shoot will be scheduled.
*So sorry there are not more photo's. Hanna was not permitted to take any additional photos while at the photo shoot due to it being for an upcoming calender.
