Potential PG&E PSPS Power Outage Event Starting December 7th
San Andreas, CA...From Calaveras OES.."Our partners at PG&E have notified us that they are watching a potential weather event that could cause a PSPS in Calaveras County. PG&E is estimating the PSPS event will start 12/7/2020 between 4:00a-7:00a on 12/7/2020, with complete power restoration on 12/8/2020 by 10:00p. Please see the attached map of possibly affected areas."

We had winds during the night on Thanksgiving and our power was not turned off. What makes this wind event different?

Nice to see a map so specific showing outage areas for the upcoming event. I'm not a big PG&E fan, but I do much appreciate all their efforts fine tuning these shutoffs for minimal impact.
