First Annual Calaveras Winegrape & Gourmet, A Celebration of Local Viticulture in Calaveras County on Saturday! Video Clip Enclosed
Angels Camp, CA...The first Annual Calaveras Winegrape Wine and Gourmet was a pouring success out at Frogtown on Saturday. This was a brand new event to Calaveras County highlighting the viticulture industry in our lovely area. It was also intended to cater to the needs of small, micro vineyards and wineries. We are villages of wineries and vineyards and our size speaks volumes as to what our tailor-made needs are and what we can produce. Attendees were invited to enjoy samples of our exceptional award winning wines produced from Calaveras grown grapes and delicious foods created by our local restaurant partners. They also receive a beautiful 16 oz Calaveras Winegrape Alliance glass. Educational seminars focusing on winegrape varietals suited for our areas soils and terroir were presented by widely respected industry leaders. Culinary seminars focusing on wine & cheese pairing and a presentation on how to open and present a bottle of wine were also offered.......
