Dylan Colby Moyle Sought in Death of Matthew Winks Arrested in Manteca
Sonora, CA...The California Highway Patrol (CHP) made an arrest in connection to the murder of Matthew Winks from Sonora. On October 13, 2020, at approximately 1:37 PM, Central Division CHP Investigative Services Unit (ISU) located Dylan Colby Moyle driving a 2006 Jeep SUV in the Knights Ferry Area. CHP ISU followed the Jeep into San Joaquin County before pulling into the Bass Pro Shop in Manteca.
Moyle pulled into a nearby parking stall where a felony stop was conducted. Moyle was taken into custody without incident. Moyle was booked into the San Joaquin County jail for 187-PC. We would like to thank the CHP Central Division ISU investigators for assisting us with locating and a capturing Moyle.
The CHP would like to extend our condolences to the Winks Family and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing Matthew.
