Mark Twain Medical Center has a New Manager of Philanthropy

San Andreas, CA...Local active Community member selected to fill the role of Hospital fundraising San Andreas- September 25, 2020- Mark Twain Medical Center has announced that after a competitive and thorough search they have successfully hired the new Manager of our Philanthropy Department. Charanjit Singh (CJ) will be responsible for developing and directing all aspects of philanthropic fundraising for MTMC.






CJ grew up in Calaveras County, attended Bret Harte Union High School in Angels Camp, and then moved out of the area to obtain his Bachelors in Economics at California State University, Sacramento.

He will be leaving his current position as the Coalition and Community Engagement Coordinator at Public Health. Prior to that role, CJ worked at the County in Talent Acquisition and helped manage his family’s retail businesses.
“Many of us know CJ from his previous professional roles,” stated MTMC CEO & President Doug Archer, “or from his multiple community volunteer activities such as; the Social Media Coordinator Habitat for Humanity Calaveras County, PR and Outreach Coordinator of the Sikh-American Community of Calaveras County, past President and Vice President of the Angels/Murphys Leo Club and a member of the Bhagat Puran Singh Health Initiative Sacramento (BPSHI).

“CJ has the leadership experience, skill, and motivation to drive the successful fundraising mission of Mark Twain Medical Centers Foundation, Continued Archer. “His knowledge of our community and commitment to serve others will be a strong asset to the existing dedicated board members, staff, and partnering organizations. His vast experience and passion to connect with people make him a great fit for our organization and our community outreach aspirations.

"I am very humbled to accept the position and looking forward to advancing healthcare access to the people of Calaveras County". Shared CJ. CJ is also fluent in Punjabi. He and his wife Avneet, live in Valley Springs.
