Mornings with the One Percent™ Live Weekdays 7-10am, This Morning’s Replays are Below

Arnold, CA…Mornings with the One Percent™ is live weekday mornings from 7-10am. The premise for the show is that the USDA ranked all 3,142 counties or county equivalents in the USA on a livability or desirability scale based on factors such as climate, scenic beauty, bodies of water for recreation, humidity and much more. All of our area ranked not only in the top one percent but in the top one half of one percent. So in the ups and downs of daily life remember you don’t have to be a Gates, Buffett or Bezos to live like the one percent. Just live here!

Socialism is a scare word they've hurled at every advance the people have made. Socialism is what they called public power, social security, deposit insurance, and independent labor organizations. Socialism is their name for anything that helps all people.

—Harry Truman, 1952

I’m not alone in fearing the horrors if Trump is re-elected: To stop the slide toward authoritarianism, Trump must lose and leave office. If he is reelected, he will change the basic nature of our political system for a generation, if not permanently.

    Chaos Coup
Posted on: 2020-09-14 10:22:00   By: Anonymous

With Pa and Wi so far with no ballots because of court challenges both involving the green party, the ballots have not been printed , and voting terminals loaded, and checked. Pa in some counties have new terminals, which have not been fully tested to add to the delay in early voting, many processes are involved before the terminals can be used.

This chaos now opens 2 avenues for a SCOTUS determination of the president regardless of the popular, and electoral vote.

#1 The GOP challenges the vote counts, due to the problems with so many mail in ballots, having made the USPS dysfunctional, causing long delays, which can nullify millions of mail in ballots.
#2 All states cannot certify the vote the determination for President goes to the Senate and SCOTUS. This has happened three times in US history, the latest in 1876.

The contested 1876 presidential election between Republican Rutherford B. Hayes of Ohio and Democrat Samuel J. Tilden of New York was the last to require congressional intervention. Tilden won the popular vote and the electoral count. But Republicans challenged the results in three Southern states, which submitted certificates of election for both candidates. While the Constitution requires the House and Senate to formally count the certificates of election in joint session, it is silent on what Congress should do to resolve disputes. In January 1877, Congress established the Federal Electoral Commission to investigate the disputed Electoral College ballots. The bipartisan commission, which included Representatives, Senators, and Supreme Court Justices, voted along party lines to award all the contested ballots to Hayes

In his August conversation with Bob Woodward, Trump was also clearly more focused on the US economy than Americans’ health.

In the audio released by CNN, the president asks Woodward, “So you think the virus totally supersedes the economy?”

”Oh, sure. But they’re related, as you know,” Woodward replied.

“A little bit, yeah,” Trump replied.

”Oh, a little bit?” Woodward asked.

“I mean, more than a little bit. But the economy is doing -- look, we’re close to a new stock market record,” Trump said.

When Woodward told Trump that there were parts of the book he would not like, the president again said, “You know the market’s coming back very strong, you do know that.”

“Yes, of course,” Woodward said.

“Did you cover that in the book?” Trump asked
