Mornings with the One Percent™ Will Be 9 till Noon Today...COVID-9 Hearings Continue

Arnold, CA…Mornings with the One Percent™ is live weekday mornings from 7-10am. The premise for the show is that the USDA ranked all 3,142 counties or county equivalents in the USA on a livability or desirability scale based on factors such as climate, scenic beauty, bodies of water for recreation, humidity and much more. All of our area ranked not only in the top one percent but in the top one half of one percent. So in the ups and downs of daily life remember you don’t have to be a Gates, Buffett or Bezos to live like the one percent. Just live here!

Oh, yeah there is and are. I can hear so much in the actors' words from what the blind followers along with some in the GOP have been parroting for months. Great to see the Repubs imploding.

The withdrawal of federal agents from frontline policing of demonstrations in downtown Portland significantly reduced tensions in the city overnight.

Protesters in support of Black Lives Matter once again rallied near the federal courthouse that became a flashpoint, and the scene of nightly battles amid the swirl of teargas, after Donald Trump dispatched agents to end what he called anarchy in the city after weeks of demonstrations.

But in the absence of the federal officers, Thursday night’s protest passed off without major incident or intervention by the police.

No federal agents, no violent conflicts.

"The U.S. Attorney for Oregon unloaded on the media for being “unwilling” to call out rioters and their criminal activity in Portland’s nightly protests."
The media is only showing their side, just like they did with the 17 year old Christian kid named Sandman. When the media painted him as a racist only because he wore a hat supporting Trump. This kid, Sandman's parent, filed lawsuits against the media who showed only one side of the confrontation and so far the first two media outlets have lost, showing that they're the racist and bigots. Here's the story from Oregon and the US Attorney claiming other wise, and the violence, the damaging of other businesses and property is still happening. Even the peaceful BLM protestors are mad because it's making them look violent.
You really have to look to find the real, honest to God news these days. And let's be honest, they hate Trump and Media is doing the exact same thing that they did to that young Christian kid, Sandman.
Here's the news story from Portland

Properly reported news should be neutral in tone and language, and should show different perspectives to tell as complete a story as possible.

When your "news" is telling you how to feel, that's editorial and opinion, not news.

Note when what you read demands you feel a certain way, especially when they want to to feel fear.

The Ambience store in Murphys has been gone for years. Brief tenure under new ownership that didn't last long. I think that space next to the old museum is some kind of tasting room with nibbles now. Perhaps the string of ads running along the right border needs some updating?
