Traffic & Fire Update....Vegetation Fire Near Standard Rd / Mono Way (Updated)
Sonora, CA...(Updates as of 3:55pm...Added another photo showing smoke output continues to drop and they are releasing more equipment) (Update as of 3:24pm...They just called "Load & Hold) for tankers 82 & 83 on the tarmac at Columbia and fire at 5 acres. Now it is a when and not if they get this one wrapped up soon! Great work everyone!!! As you can see smoke output dropping in latest photo below) (Update as of 3:11pm fire at approximately 3 acres) Traffic & Fire Update....Vegetation Fire Near Standard Rd / Mono Way. From the Sheriff's Office..."There is a heavy law enforcement and fire personnel presence on Standard Road and Cavalieri Road.
Cavalieri Road is currently under an Evacuation Warning. This means the fire is a potential threat to life and/or property. Those who require additional time to evacuate, and those with pets and livestock should leave now.
We ask everyone to avoid the area." Original...We are currently on scene of a fire in the area of Standard Road in Sonora. Please avoid the area. More updates will be announced on this post."
