The Trout Spot Is Your Home For All Things Fly Fishing, Trout Flies & Home Decor.

Arnold, CA...We are a full service fly shop with all of the great products you can find at TheTroutSpot.com as well as guided fishing trips, casting and fly tying instruction. We will also be providing short walking excursions to some of our local waters later in the year for those of you who have not had the chance to fish in the Arnold area. Make sure to stop by and say hello.

Fellow Trout Enthusiasts,

I decided to start The Trout Spot while working for the same company for 23 years. My friends, fishing buddies and co-workers always talked about finding a way to fish more and work less. In those years I fished a lot of waters, but always had the need for more I was, and still am on the hunt for the elusive Walter, that trout that rips your reel to the backing and burns the palm of your hand. I truly feel that the best thing in life one can experience is to feel the pull of a trout on the end of your line. There's no thrill like that first tug in the morning to wake you up and take the chill off your bones, or to see that flash as the fish jumps from the water, or the explosion of a big trout taking a bug off the top. I know being a small business owner is a ton of work, and will probably take more effort than working a full time job, but I also know that it will get me one step closer to fishing. If I get one more hour a week to hunt Big Old Walter, it will be worth it. At The Trout Spot, we will strive to give our customers a quality product for a fair price and to provide a friendly attitude in our business. So please help support this poor fisherman on his quest for the big one. A Clear Stream and Fish On!

Thanks for shopping with us!
