And so the fire "season" begins - the causes perhaps equally divided between old timers still mowing, visitors and their side of the road hot tail pipes and tweeters in the woods. Many of our children are those now on the front lines fighting these fires but you know what? If you asked any parent or grandparent, they would prefer ours had a safer occupation. Doesn't make us any less proud. Be careful out there and please, people, don't make it worse than it has to be.

(sometimes I hate autocorrect. That should have read "tweeters")

Why no updates on who or what has started these fires? What was the cause of the Copper one that was headed for Pool Station?

Most of these fires are caused by one or two of our readers here. Smokers, throwing their lit cigarettes out of their window. They could of stuck their cig in their cheap, nasty beer, but the idiots still had a gulp or two. The inconsiderate pig just throws all his garbage out of his pos vehicle, fast-food wrappers, bags, cigs, beer cans. He's just a slob, his car's a joke, trailer he lives in a pile of garbage, probably has piss stains on his pants and skid marks on his panties.
