Walker Fire Now 70% Contained & Size Grows to 1,455 Acres Due to Better Mapping

San Andreas, CA...The fire is now 70% contained as firefighters were not impacted by the Red Flag conditions today. Accurate mapping of the fire today has increased the acreage to 1455 acres. Firefighters will continue to build and reinforce fireline on the eastern side of the fire tonight.

Then please do suggest what departments can be cut - schools, health care for the poor and elderly, or perhaps unemployment benefits? C-19 has and will have a huge impact on state finances everywhere. We're fortunate that Gov. Newsom had created a large reserve fund; CA is in better shape than many other states whose budgets weren't starting from such a positive position.

He needs to implement the pay cuts to have funds to give welfare and other benefits to illegal aliens, and now the state is looking to give reparations (money) to descendants of slaves from 170 years ago, and money to build shelters for the homeless, and to keep the Covid-19 lock down in place as much as possible so people can't, or wont go to the voting polls to vote, and force them to vote by mail.

We are vote-by-mail counties. Why is this an issue?
