The Latest on Fish Plants in Alpine County

Markleeville, CA...From the Markleeville General Store on fish plants in the High Sierra ahead of Memorial Day Weekend...."Our fishing board this week! Average size of fish planted is 4.4 pounds. They have been catching, so if you get a good fish, bring it in and we will weigh and measure it then post it here."

$51.00 for a Commiefornia fishing license?

Has the state any sense of decency? $51.00 for a fishing license? Insane. Gotta pay those pensions somehow.

Real men don't fish for planters. We go to obscure lakes and sstreams, in search of Native Trout. Planters are for pusies.

You must not fish the Carson very often. I've never seen any Asians.
Most are middle aged white guys.
