Frog Traditions Continue Even During Shutdowns
Angels Camp, CA...One the night of May 13 Ron Dwelley, Larry Thompson, Keith Bibee & others continued the Annual Tradition of repainting the frog that graces the intersection at the south end of historic Angels Camp. Thanks Guys for setting the table for next year. We took a few photos the next day and from Ron Dwelley..."Had the honor to renew the frog on Highway 49 last night with some great guys including Larry Thompson and Keith Bibee who started the tradition in 1975."

I remember that and I remember and both knew Larry Thompson Sr. and Larry Thompson jr. Larry jr. and his wife owned and operated the old Angels Mercantile years ago.
