Columbia Woman Arrested After Traffic Stop

Sonora, CA...39-year-old Teresa M. Abreo of Columbia was arrested Saturday night for multiple charges, which included being a felon in possession of a firearm. Just after 9:00 pm on Saturday, Officer Brickley conducted a traffic stop on a silver Kia Forte for registration violations. The driver, Teresa Abreo, was determined to be on Tuolumne County probation, and during a search of the vehicle, the officer located a loaded .22 caliber Derringer pistol. Abreo had previous felony convictions that prohibited her from possessing firearms in California.

Abreo was subsequently arrested for being a felon in possession of a firearm and was transported to Tuolumne County Jail for booking. Other charges against Abreo include having a loaded firearm in a public place and displaying false evidence of registration.

The trunk has been kicked in or otherwise damaged. Domestic violence?

    Naw, probably tweaker dents.

You can spot many meth heads in the foothill counties by the tweaker dents in their vehicles. Easy to confirm when you see the strung-out POS behind the wheel.

There's a close up facial photo of her on mymotherlode in which she looks more like a rough 59-year old than 39. Very sad indeed and as other have said, likely meth.

An assassination weapon. Used to get close and flee without a fight.
