This only makes sense when a vehicle hit a power pole in that area.

pG and E needs to be disbanded
Posted on: 2020-02-13 12:12:37   By: Anonymous

It’s absolutely ridiculous what Californians have to go through , the highest KWH rates in continental US. While we have a wildfire risk that is spiraling out of control Coupled with insurance rates for fire protection that border usury.

Meanwhile PG and E takes in the profits while simultaneously claiming bankruptcy to avoid paying settlements for fires they are culpable for.

Now we have random third party tree crews infringing on private property and creating a mess for homeowners to deal with in D2 ( and most likely in your neighborhood soon) . The result of 17 years of deferred maintenance.
Literally they did nothing for 17 years in regards to vegetation management on parts of there grids in Calaveras Co.
Now it’s a big PR push to cut back trees from lines and spend 100s of millions on ‘management’ . We the customers will ultimately pay for their greed of putting shareholder profits above all. Watch as the rates will rise for your bill, preemptive power outages will become normal year round. And

PG and E will try to convince you they should be able to remain a shareholder owned entity that provides public power .
PG and E needs to be shrunk and parceled into smaller utilities. Or we as consumers will have to bear the burden of rolling blackouts
    Preemptive shutoffs
    Sky high rates
    0 accountability to customers
Putting shareholder profits above all else.
