Placerville Police Confirm Suspicious Death of 11 Year Old Roman Lopez

Placerville, CA...A missing juvenile from Placerville was found deceased on January 11, 2020. The Placerville Police Department was contacted on January 11, 2020 regarding a missing 11 year old juvenile, Roman Lopez. After an extensive search of the area, involving multiple agencies, Roman was
found deceased. At this time, we are conducting an investigation into a suspicious death. This event is very tragic for all involved and we appreciate your patience while we conduct a thorough investigation.





We would like to thank the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office and the District Attorney’s Office for their
assistance with this investigation. We will keep you updated with information as we can on our social media
sites.

Roman Anthony Lopez, 03/07/2008 last seen this morning (1/11/2020) at his home. Coloma St. Possibly wearing a grey t-shirt, unknown color pants, red and black shoes. Birthmark on his neck.
