Where is our local news? Bear Valley Lodge Fire, Power Outages No Coverage

Ads and more ads, where is our local news?
The Pine Tree misses most of our local news such as fires , electricity outages.
TPT is all about ads and ad revenue, and ignores its news responsibility , hell, it says "The Celebrated News of Calaveras County and beyond". What a crock of shyte.
There was a fire response called in for the Bear Valley Lodge,
There is a electricity outage for thousands in Wilseyville, RR flat, any coverage?
It is clear from past and present use of TPT is for ad revenue, not both local news and ads. A sad departure from it's great start in our community.

To whoever is moaning and groaning about ads, etc: Have you ever heard of the concept of having sponsors for all forms of media? This concept has been around for years with the TV and even longer the radio.

In Case you missed the point- TPT's masthead says "The Celebrated News of Calaveras County and Beyond"
Isn't local news such as a fire call at Bear Valley Lodge, or a power outage Thanksgiving day news?
Are ads more important to you?
Can't TPT have both?
Sad if you can't see the problem.
I am thankful for living. I am thankful for the people in my life and those, human and all forms of life I share my living days with.
Happy Thanksgiving, the most important day in the year. Being thankful is important for one's spiritual health.
