Dog Owner & Dogs Taken Into Custody After Mini Horses Killed

San Andreas, CA...On Tuesday October 15, 2019, Calaveras County Animal Services investigated a report of two mini horses that were killed in an attack by two dogs in the 2600 block of Holmquist Lane in Valley Springs. During our investigation, the officer in charge found out that both dogs and the dog owner fled to Stockton shortly after the incident. Our officer was able to find a Stockton address linked to the dog owner.

The officer notified the Stockton Police Department who went to the address and found both the dog owner and the dogs at the address. The dog owner Raymond Carringer was arrested for felony probation violation and Stockton Animal Services took the dogs into custody. Our department will be picking up the dogs and impounding them, pending a probable filing of a potentially dangerous dog petition.

We would like to thank the Stockton Police Department and Stockton Animal Services for their assistance in this case.

I'm seeing many dogs running mostly in pairs with no owners present all over the county lately. Wannabe drug producers moving in again. So drugged they could care less about anyone or anything else besides themselves.

So just like that you weirdos start blaming cannabis when technically speaking regulations haven't begun. No one's growing yet under legal regs in Calaveras. So.. I guess this is because of the ban. Marijuana is legal state wide in California like it or not. You choose to live in a state that a majority vote passed by us citizens allowing recreational cannabis. Why stay, and this has nothing to do with weed. Shame on you, some p.o.s allowed his animals to do this. Knowing full well they were dangerous and killed someone's pets. Have a little sense, a little respect and shut your dumb ass fuc king turd for brains mouth more like fecal fingers. Hey John these are your intelligent fans. Lol

You haven't heard that our county's CAO got beat up. Too bad, but a very strange occurrence. I often wonder what the real reason for that was. I think there are some very upset folks about the lifting of the ban and there may be more occurrences in the near future. Who knows?

I have had a few Hmong's growing and trimming my weed for me the last couple years, and I want to expand. They have been using what they call "dawk" fertilizer and it kicks ass. Smells like crap but it works amazing! The Hmongs laugh at me when I ask how they make it, say its a secret. The buyers love my product, say its the best, bring in more. Problem is the Hmongs say they can't make more than they have been. So wondering if anyone has heard of "dawk" fertilizer and knows how to make it?? Links to recipes or????

Just another bored Citidiot with no friends here, volunteering to try to fit in. Desperately wanting to change the county to the mess they came from because it's all they know. Many saying I have lived here for X amount of years. That X amount of years has done nothing to change their Citidiot way of life and thinking. Living at the bars and wineries and driving around drunk and drugged to the next party.

Conversations like this have a way of bringing up an issue that has always been under the surface of this county. It's people who have moved here that are often the volunteers in all capacities of the community - from the animal shelter to schools to food banks. They are also the people who are often staffing most government departments, teaching in schools and more. Yet even it you're the next generation, you're a newcomer.

Been here 20 years and no hater or I wouldn't be helping. I'm simply saying don't be so quick to blame others who came after you. Though not in this case, many, many issues with dogs involve owners who have lived here for decades, don't license and don't spay or neuter their animals.

To call pit bulls baby sitters, when so many of them have killed kids in the homes they live in is absurd.
The dogs were bred to kill bulls , where the name came from.
They were bred to kill bulls as sport, people used them for entertainment, as roosters are bred for cock fighting.

Jerry Yates a 3 tour Marine in Viet Nam was killed by 2 pit bulls on his property in Mt Ranch. Jerry was a recovery specialist- he recovered bodies and sensitive material from downed helicopters in Viet Nam under fire. He survived 3 tours, left the service, and lived to 69 when the pit bulls killed him on that Sunday.

The news is full of pit bull attacks , never Golden Retrievers , wonder why? They were not bred to kill, but retrieve.

Those defending these wanton killers are defending ticking time bombs which go off and kill, the facts, data show this, also why some have them, to intimidate others similar to open carry firearms.

It's the way folks raise and train them; not the dogs. We have 3 dogs-A part pit, American staff? terrier, a little shnauzer/dobie, and a 3 year old pit bull we got from a shelter who was abused. He is also very skitterish but a good barker. The little shnauzer actually gets the other two riled up LOL! They all actually get along, are great with walking, fenced in, and we also have signs on the property. They are also protective so if they feel that another human is threatening to their own master-especially on the master's property, they will react. So you need to think about the other side of the story too. Those folks shouldn't have had those dogs close to those horses and then maybe the horses had instigated them too. Like I said we all don't know the whole story. It boils down to one thing-being responsible for these dogs-ANY dogs!

How do you explain the many children some young teens killed in their own home by their pets- pit bulls ? one 2 weeks ago. The numbers per year are staggering.
Something sets these dogs off, they are bred killers, they were bred to kill.
The numbers of pit bull killings are indicative of a predilection for this breed to kill, even home owners or family members. Of course innocent strangers killed are the majority, but the killing of owners, family members, especially children, the numbers cannot be explained away. The breed is a threat to all.
The sooner the fad of the breed which is similar to the open carry crowd in many cases, used for intimidation the better.

Since we are on this topic of ridding one type of breed due to possibility of violence, aggression and death. Guns kill by an alarmingly higher rate...are these the same people screaming over tighter gun laws? I bet these are the same asshats. You ain't taking my guns! Kill them dogs, wipe out those devil pit bulls. They all might be dangerous. Twisted mind sets, gotta love these country folk.
