Another Escaped Debris Burn Today....This Time in Mountain Ranch.
Mountain Ranch, CA...When we spoke with CAL-FIRE's Lisa Williams a few minutes ago she wanted us to stress that when you have a debris pile burning you are supposed to have a 10 foot perimeter down to the dirt around the fire and are supposed to man the fire at all times as well. The Mountain Ranch Blaze was about two acres in size and had two state and two local engines and helicopter 404 even made an appearance...
Crews are still on scene. It is way too early to be talking about so many fires. Let's be careful out there!
Burn permits will be required on May 1st., 2008
