San Andreas, CA...The Calaveras Public Health Division will be opening an Access Functional Needs (AFN) shelter to provide an environment with electricity to assist the population with durable medical devices required to maintain life. AFN individuals with electrified durable medical equipment i.e., ventilators, oxygen generators, and their one caregiver may be permitted access to the shelter. The location for Calaveras County will be Mountain Oaks High School at 150 Old Oak Road San Andreas 95249.

People with needs, need to take care of their needs.
I need money to buy food, pay medical bills, rent, insurance.........,.and I’m the only one responsible, the more we do for needy people, the more they want and the less they do to help themselves.... all the other no loads see that and get in line.... so goes the world.... the working people need to do more to help the needy.....

Home oxygen

If someone is on Home Oxygen and needs power for their oxygen concentrator they only have enough time based on the tanks of oxygen that they have around their house.
They will need the power for their concentrator within 2 hrs of the power being shut off.
Calaveras County Emergency services should open their shelter within 4 hours of the Power Shut off.
PG&E should be required to provide power to Schools and Hospitals.
Would we have better service if PG&E were owned and run by the Government? Maybe it is time to consider the Public Utility option.

It’s the person that NEEDS something special to plan for and be responsible for themselves!!!, I have a well and need power to run it, therefore I have a backup generator and a water storage tank that I bought and paid for myself, ahead of time! To use When the power goes out.
California has been enabling no loads /welfare recipients ect.
Far to long!, enough is enough people get off your butt and take responsibility for yourself, it’s not the governments or the working class People’s to take care of anyone.

Owned and run by the government?
You are an F N idiot, the government, especially in California
Is a complete wreck. One only has to look to our current Governor and the mess he made while he was the mayor of SF, that once great city is a total cesspool, He will turn California into the biggest welfare, freebie, entitlement state... one day the taxpayers will have enough and refuse to continue subsidizing handout, free*bleep* government sponsored programs
    It’s coming, I guarantee it!

RANGER DICK THINKS HIGHLY OF HIMSELF WITH HIS BACKUP GENERATOR AND STORAGE TANK. HE MUST HAVE A GOVERNMENT JOB (CAL TRAN, ETC.) WHO'S SUCKING THE TIT.

Actually he is retired after working 43 years, seeing more taxes taken out of my paycheck each year, that’s money out of my pocket used to fund welfare, freeloaders, and every other so called special needs person lifestyle.
All that and still was responsible enough to take care of my family and saving enough money for whatever was needed to survive ....not asking for or expecting to have the government or anyone else pay my way.
But of course I don’t expect you to understand anything that has to do with work or being responsible for oneself.
