The Festival helped support the Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation and its efforts to improve the healthcare in Calaveras County. The Foundation is currently in a campaign to raise $1 million to purchase Digital Mammography technology for the hospital to help improve women’s health.
Since the campaign started the total funds raised have reached $517,000. “All of the money we have raised was from donations,” shared Susi Miller. The foundation recently started doing fundraisers. The next fundraiser will be a gold tournament and the Angel Auction at Green Horn Creek in Angels Camp.
