A Sonora Man Arrested and Charged With Trying to Kill His Mother.

Sonora, CA...Early Saturday morning, deputies responded to a 911 call at a home on Fallview Drive in Sonora. A woman reported 23-year-old Matthew Rose was trying to kill her. Deputies arrived at the home and found the woman hiding in a bathroom. Rose had physically attacked the woman and strangled her. He brandished a large kitchen knife and threatened to kill her and then himself.

When the victim was able to escape from Rose, she hid in the bathroom and called for help. Deputies found Rose outside of the home with a self inflicted stab wound to the abdomen.

Rose was transported to a Modesto hospital and now faces charges of criminal threats and attempted homicide.

(Rose is still being medically treated so we don’t have a recent booking photo just yet.)

I am not a democrat, but thanks for proving just how ignorant and a stereotypical turd for brains hillbilly you are with that response. Hey you are aware this is California right? Hahaha you pay taxes in a democratic progressive state yet whine about the majority. Loser minorities paying to live in a state and populous they despise. Hilarious. It truly is...
