DUI Arrest for Vallecito Woman Injured in Sunday Evening Collision in Murphys
Murphys, CA...On August 4, 2019 at approximately 1809 hours, Terry was driving her Nissan Pathfinder northbound on Scott Street, south of Jones Street, while Newport was driving his 2016 Chevrolet Silverado, southbound on Scott Street, south of Jones Street, and Flau was driving her 2016 Dodge Charger southbound on Scott Street, south of Jones Street. For reasons still under investigation, Terry unsafely turned her Nissan across the roadway, and collided with the left rear side of Newport's Chevrolet, before colliding head on with Flau's Dodge. Terry suffered moderate injuries as a result of the collision, and all other parties were were uninjured. Terry was transported to Doctor's Medical Center in Modesto for treatment of her injuries. The collision is still under investigation.
Alcohol and/or drugs are believed to have been a factor in this collision and Terry was arrested and released to the care of the hospital.
