Fire Update....Vegetation Fire Reported Near Lake Moran

Bear Valley, CA....The Forest Service is working a reported vegetation fire near Lake Moran. This is in Tuolumne County but physically it is closer to the Hwy 4 side. Early reports are 3/4 of an acre. More to follow if needed but I bet they get this one knocked down quickly...

The Circus will mik it, fires have a hard time spreading in the granite, since most of you don't investigate, they get a way with all kinds of crap at that elevation!

Not true. The wind can carry embers many miles away. Just take a look at the previous fires that have occurred in the area. The people who live there and the ones that have lost their homes and cabins in previous fires would have a different opinion than what you do. I bet you don't live in this area...do you?

You sound like a 😢 whining simpleton. I guess it's all just granite, no grass, no brush, no trees to ignite....oh but wait...it did ignite. Well there goes your theory on it's just granite. Maybe you should go investigate it for everyone there Inspector Clouseau since you seem like such a bright individual.

It’s out for the most part and it’s NOT on granite by the way. Someone was setting off M180’s up there on Saturday

I summer at Lake Moran for your information, and have lived in Calaveras Co. For 71 yrs., as I said before granite doesn't burn, you must be a libtard fearing flying embers, embers airborne in grasslands are dangerous, 99% of the time in granite they are harmless libtard, Sierra Club, Vice President, supporter of Al Gore, the inventor of the Internet, need I say more, go back to SF with all the queers and homeless roam and worry about those problems !

I guess the 3/4's acre that did burn must of been all the garbage the wrinkled old senile fool left there since it's entirely granite up there.
So this just proves that for 71 years we've had to listen to his stupidity. On the bright side we won't have to for much longer.

        There is a difference.
        An M80 blows up.
        An M180 blows down.

Ditto! Yep I totally agree with you on that one! I haven't lived here as long as you, but I agree with you on all what you said. Some folks just don't know anything about the topography of that area. Even though it's been years since I have been up that way, but I have hiked and explored that whole general area and I can attest about the fact that most of that is granite rock. That is the norm for the high Sierra. So don't let these fools get to you lol! I've been dealing with some of them on here for the last two years-debating wise that is.

It is so true. Yes I have partied a lot in my life, but there were also some good times which I did some constructive and fun things like hiking. But I guess some of you folks are just so miserable and you don't know anything about doing those things. You are just so wrapped up in this "cannabis fog" and that's all you think about and/or how much money you're going to make by selling or raising it.
There are much more finer things in life (many of them) that you can enjoy doing and you don't have to be rich either. Additionally, you need to think about preserving are beautiful natural resources in our county-not to forget the most precious resource-water. So when this whole UO came about, it seems like every Tom, Dick, and Harry and their grandmothers; not to forget probably some illegals for cheap labor-came up to see if they could get rich quick. Seems like they came from every corner of the state and even further. What a travesty! Then the crime that went with it...... Shame on you!
