Constance is the Calaveras Pet of the Week

San Andreas, CA...Meet Constance, an exceptionally pretty shorthaired kitty with unusual black and white markings and a white blaze on her face very much resembling an exclamation point. At just six pounds but with an oversized personality, Constance is super friendly, quite talkative and gentle. She is always ready to play or cuddle. As with many adult females, Constance will likely need to be introduced slowly to any other female cats in your household. Don’t rush the introductions and your patience will pay off! At two years of age, she is also ready to be your companion for many years to come. We think this purr-fectly sweet girl would make a great addition to most any household and would likely love and be loved by children as well.

As with all cats available for adoption at the Calaveras Animal Shelter, Constance is up-to-date on her routine vaccinations and has been micro-chipped. She will need to be spayed before going home with her special person or family.

Come visit Constance, impound no. AO49739, and other cats and dogs awaiting their forever homes at Calaveras County Animal Services, 901 Jeff Tuttle Drive, San Andreas (in government center by the new jail). Animal Services is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday - Saturday (closed for lunch from 1-2 p.m.). For more information about this kitty, please email Animal Services volunteer Cynthia at clpino@caltel.com, Animal Services Officer Missie at mmcbride@co.calaveras.ca.us or call Animal Services directly at 754-6509. Adoptable animals may also be viewed on the web at http://animal.calaverasgov.us/Adoptions and on the Calaveras County Animal Services Facebook page.

Where are the comments related to the cannabis tip line?
Pulled down because so many good residents of this county don't want commercial growing here?

Speaking of classless, look at your own behavior pinenutbags. Commenting on code compliance and the marijuana tip line through an article about pet adoption. Super classy and pathetic. Call on the classless pinetree.nut cult. Find something better to do, it's too bad your parents didn't teach you this thing called values and respect...how sad.

Classless Marijuana growers just proving everyone's point....complete trash. They hate that code enforcement is finally a well functioning department because they want to do what growers have always done, break the law.

As a prospective commercial grower I personally like code enforcement cleaning up the tweaks and illegal grows giving us a bad name. Alot of us are playing by the rules and the ones that arent need to be slapped.

They are mostly scum pot dealers. Let the corporations do it indoors and tax the heck out of them. You can't just let every idiot that thinks he can run a grow run wild and ruin our quality of life up here.

John hamilton and his retarded following has become quite the collection. How embarrassing! Too many inbreds equals what is seen right here. Damn, when you think it can't get any worse. More reformed tweakers and sister humpers come out of the wood works.

Keep the ban, so much quieter and much less traffic and it smells so much better outside and especially inside of Sender’s.

Well, despite all the inappropriate and nothing to do with the article commentary - hope this little one finds a good home. Thank you FOCAS and more in the greater animal rescue community who give many volunteer hours to help.
