Mountain Ranch, CA) On May 8, 2019 members of the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office Marijuana Enforcement Team served a search warrant for illegal marijuana cultivation at a property located in the 200 block of Old Prospector Trail, Mountain Ranch. The case remained active with investigators conducting additional follow-up investigations.

On July 2nd 2019 the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office Marijuana Enforcement Team served another search warrant for illegal marijuana cultivation at the same property (200 block of Old Prospector Trail, Mountain Ranch). During the service of the search warrant another outdoor marijuana operation was located. Investigators discovered three (3) greenhouse use to grow marijuana. A total of 552 marijuana plants were seized.

County Code Enforcement and Environmental Health were advised of multiple code and health violations including unpermitted/hazardous electrical work and raw sewage being dumped onto the ground. No suspects were found at the location.
