Your welcome and we need to keep things in perspective and be vigilant and prepared and things really get critical in August & Sept.

Fires

Guess who is still selling fireworks? Will the Supervisor's ever get a backbone and follow Tuolumne and Amador and ban fireworks? Not looking forward to the 4th. Can't seem to go a day without a fire breaking out. This is just what PG & E is looking for so they can cut our power. Imagine no water to fight the fire if you have a well?

Its called a generator. Water tanks work pretty well too. Nowadays especially in areas like this, one has to be pretty naive not being prepared. Well that being said, have a bag packed people. No one is special .

We passed by Big Trees Village drive turnoff from 4 and I noticed a large sign banning fireworks. I guess that's just for Big Trees Village HOA?

Generator would be great, but who has thousands of dollars to spend if they are on Social Security? Who would like to donate about $7000 for a whole house generator?

You don't need a whole house generator moron. A small one for your well, would suffice. Or get a god damn holding tank, and the small one would be just enough to power your fridge and a fan in the house. Get a used generator. 7000 lol! You aren't a local.

Why did you move to the country to retire? Guess you thought it would be easy. It's okay, my parents are naive as well. Even after living here for 30 years.

Ebbetts Pass Fire District has a ban on fireworks. Only counts for that area and Federal Lands. Rest of Calaveras County is fair game for fireworks. Isn't that nice! Can't hardly wait.
