CAL FIRE to Conduct Prescribed Fire Project in Salt Springs Valley

San Andreas, CA...The CAL FIRE Tuolumne – Calaveras Unit will be conducting a prescribed fire project in the Salt Springs Valley between Copperopolis and Valley Springs on Thursday, May 30, 2019. The project encompasses 280 acres of grassland. The intent of the project is to reduce the amount of Medusa head Grass, a noxious weed, and to provide live fire training.

Firefighters will be on project for most of the day Thursday and burn all 280 acres if weather and fuel conditions permit. Smoke may be visible during the day Thursday. Six CAL FIRE Engines, one Copperopolis Fire District Engine, one CAL FIRE Hand Crew and one CAL FIRE Bulldozer will be assigned to the project.

Criminal Chief Josh White costing taxpayers $32,000,000
Posted on: 2019-05-30 11:03:56   By: Anonymous

June 14, 2019 Plumas County Superior Court Judge Verderosa will hear the $32,000,000 Sanctions Distribution case caused by criminal TCU Chief Joshua White. Call Debbie Norrie Court clerk at 530-283-6016 Case # CV 09-00205. The Sanctions are because Chief White, lied under oath, planted false evidence and wrote a fraudulent Investigative report regarding the Moonlight Fire. Justice is finally served. Meanwhile
Cal Fire refuses to discipline Chief Josh White or to fire him and White remains at the helm of TCU Unit as he continues to write false reports, lie and threatens all of our well being.

    Department of Forestry and Fire Protection v. Howell, 18 Cal.App.5th 154 (2017)
    226 Cal.Rptr.3d 727, 2017 Daily Journal DAR. 11,584 -----------------
In awarding discovery sanctions, the trial court
found that beginning in July 2010 and continuing
through 2013, Cal Fire committed multiple acts that
amounted to a "gross abuse" of the Civil Discovery
Act. Specifically, the trial court found that Cal
**753 Fire investigator Joshua White engaged in
spoliation when he destroyed his field notes; he
also created a false "Origin and Cause Investigation
Report" (the Moonlight report), the false narrative
of which was injected in the litigation in July 2010
when Cal Fire provided the Moonlight reportin
lieu of factual statements-in its response to
interrogatories; and White continued the same false
narrative by testifying untruthfully at his deposition
III ovember 2010. Thus, the trial court concluded
monetary sanctions as a result of discovery abuses
