CALAVERAS COUNTY MISSION STATEMENT
The Mission of Calaveras County Government is to provide service, infrastructure,
leadership, and vision necessary to advance a safe community, maintain a high quality
of life, while preserving local history and culture, and to protect personal liberties for all
of its citizens.
Pursuant to Government Code 65009, a legal challenge to any of the
projects described below may be limited to addressing only those issues
raised at the public hearing or in written correspondence delivered to the
Planning Commission at or prior to the public hearing.
Application(s), environmental documents, staff reports, and project files are
available for review at the Calaveras County Community Development Agency,
Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., except County holidays. Copies
of the project file, staff report, and/or environmental documents may also be
purchased.
Planning Commission decisions can be appealed to the Board of Supervisors.
Appeals must be filed with the Board Clerk within fifteen (15) days of this hearing.

The public may address the Planning Commission on land use issues not on
the agenda. Five minutes per person, fifteen minutes per topic. (The
Planning Commission shall not take action on any items presented under this
Public Comment Period).

4. CONSENT AGENDA:
A. APPROVAL of MINUTES from the March 06 and 20th , 2008, Planning
Commission Meeting.
B. 2007-96 Extension of Time for, TSTM 2004-63 Dan Gray (original file
name was Yeaton). Tentative Subdivision Tract Map 2004-63, for David
and Virginia Yeaton was approved May 2, 2005 to divide the property into
7 Lots of 5 acres minimum each. The property is located 1½± miles north
of the intersection of State Hwy 12 & 26 at Toyon, being ⅓± mile north of
Beal Ranch Road on Hwy 26. (APN 40-001-74 is a portion of the
Northeast ¼ of Section 4, T4N, R11E, MDM). The applicant has
requested a twenty-four (24) month extension, which was received prior to
the expiration date.
5. PUBLIC HEARINGS:
A. 2004-68 Tentative Parcel Map for Donohue.
The applicant proposes to divide 15.2 acres of land into three 5 acres
parcels. The subject parcel is located at 3932 Murphy’s Grade Road near
Angels Camp, approximately 520 feet northeast from the intersection of
Murphy’s Grade and French Gulch Road. This application was received
April 15, 2004. Staff has asked for additional information in order to
process the application. To date, the application is still incomplete and
can not be processed. (APN: 057-003-057 in Angels Camp.) TSR
B. 2005-177 Planned Development Permit for EDK, LLC.
The applicant is requesting approval of a Planned Development permit to
construct 22,300 square feet of commercial warehousing on
approximately 5.02 acres. The site plan indicates three (3) proposed
buildings with parking, landscaping and floor plans. The project site is
zoned C2-MH-PD (General Commercial-Manufactured Home-Planned
Development) and is currently vacant. The property is located
approximately 1+ mile southeasterly of the State Route 49 and Hwy 4
intersection, in Angels Camp, off of Gun Club Road, east of the U.P.S.
building. APN 64-005-058 is located in the Southeast ¼ of Section 3,
T2N, R13E, MDM.
