Traffic Stop Ends in Arrest on Drug & Stolen Property Charges

Jamestown, CA...From Tuolumne Sheriff's Office..."Drugs and stolen property found after a Jamestown traffic stop. One of our deputies stopped a truck at Donovan and Main Street driven by 23-year-old Majer Montoya because he failed to stop at a stop sign.

A records check showed Montoya had an outstanding warrant. He was arrested and a search of the truck turned up drug paraphernalia, a scale, nearly seven grams of methamphetamine, and an air compressor which had been reported stolen, only hours before.

Montoya was booked into the Tuolumne County Jail for his warrant, transporting methamphetamine with intent to sell, possession of stolen property and drug use paraphernalia.

This guy was arrested in March, February, December and last May. That's just what I saw on Google.

Clearly he needs to go down hard this time. Not only drugs but multiple theft charges.

Dirtbag.

Strange they didn't find a pound of weed on him. I guess these marijuana people are getting smart. Also since the ban there have been way less people smuggling or trying to smuggle the stuff and it's been a lot quieter and pollution free here in Calaveras County. Let's hope it stays this way!
