55 Year Old Oakdale Woman Guillermina Goff Lost Her Life in Hwy 120 Collision

Sonora, CA...On Thursday, January 31, 2019, at approximately 6:15 pm, 37 year old Cinthia Beglinger and her passenger, 10 month old Arias Ables, both from Modesto, were traveling eastbound on State Route 120 in a 2004 Ford Explorer, west of Sims Road. A 55 year old Oakdale resident was driving a 2010 Toyota Prius westbound on State Route 120, approaching Beglinger's location. Beglinger failed to safely negotiate a right curve in the roadway and crossed into the westbound lane, directly into the path of the Toyota. The vehicles collided head-on.

Beglinger was wearing a seatbelt and only sustained minor injuries. Passenger Ables was properly restrained in a rear facing car seat and escaped any injuries. The driver of the Toyota was wearing a seatbelt and was declared deceased at the scene.

This collision is still under investigation. Alcohol and/or drugs were not suspected to be a factor.

You sound like you have the mentality of someone who would. Probably drive when using pot too?

Yes-ditto! Just don't drink and drive or smoke pot and drive! Is simple as that! Can't blame it on the wineries/tasting rooms-no one is putting a gun to your head and forcing you to drink or smoke!

And why is it always in this same area where these fatalities happen-between Jamestown and J 59 etc?

Most other states that weren't broke from supporting illegals would make that stretch of highway 4 lanes given the traffic levels.
