San Andreas, CA...In this meeting The Calaveas County Board of Supervisors, The Angels Camp City Council, The Calaveras County Chamber of Commerce and more participated in a study session looking at the economic picture in the county. This meeting was informational and a great start in the dialogue to bring new ideas and efforts to improving the economic health and vitality of our local economy....
During the first part of this meeting The Executive Director of the Calaveras County Chamber of Commerce Diane Gray led a presentation of a general economic snapshot of the county's key economic indicators.
There was also lively discussion from various groups and individuals on what they think can be done to improve the economic vitality of the county. This was a good meeting and first step in what should be a good process of bringing together private and public interests in helping the county. Chamber Director Diane Gray & Community Development Director Stephanie Moreno Closed out the meeting and helped layout the next steps in the process.
