Another Great Day in Murphys Honoring Those Who Served

Muprhys, CA...Last Sunday local veterans, friends, families and community members gathered to pay homage to those who literally put service to their country above self. This year again featured presentations on the various branches from students from Jennifer Berry's class at Albert Michelson Elementary school.  Music from the Calaveras Communty Band and more,  When you visit Murphys whether you are a visitor or a local resident take a few minutes to visit the park. We had posted the video of the program earlier but now the photos are below as well.

Lots of Additional Photos Are Enclosed...

The Ebbetts Pass Veterans Memorial District through sale of memorial bricks, community donations including a large donation from the Kautz Family that included the iconic statue that is the Park's focal point.

Does anyone know if Alice is out of 5150 hold yet? Last update was from Steve and he said he will give another one when he leaves his trailer in the morning to see her. (Prayers)

Just got off the phone with one of my friends who is close to Allyce. She is doing good (considering the circumstances) and is ready to apologize to those she has offended in the past. We are so proud of her! Hopefully she will be out soon. She asked me to update everyone on Calaveras Enterprise so I figured here would be a good idea too.

      Thanks, Julie

Do you have any new updates? I am so worried about her and she isn't answering her phone.

The WWII cheering section is getting pretty thin, sorry to see these great Men and Women leaving us! The young one's of today will never know the America that these patriot's gave us, this new generation just wants to play and complain! Sorry bunch of young one's, they don't know how good they have it!

Sadly sir, or miss, I'm afraid you are right, they do NOT know how
lucky they are. Many of us take that for granted, our luck that is.
We still have a great military, even though people like Hillary
    were turned away
from the Marines when she tried to join, I do believe the younger generation
is not aware of the sacrifices that it takes to be a strong nation.
To all of our military men and women, thank you for everything
you have sacrificed for all of us, and to the families that have lost
    loved ones, thank you too.
Without those brave men and women, we would not be enjoying the freedom we have today.
    God Bless you all

Well, maybe, but the kids of today probably know how to write a correctly spelled plural noun! No apostrophes!

Jennifer Berry looks like a cow. She’s a terrible teacher and an awful person!
