Dispute over Dog Possession Leads to Altercation

Valley Springs, CA...On 11-15-18 at about 4:50pm, CCSO Deputies responded to a residence in the 2000 block of Dale Drive, Valley Springs for a reported altercation and dog stolen. The victim told deputies that she witnessed suspect Edward Pereira (age 45 of Campo Seco) access her yard through an unlocked gate. The suspect reportedly took a white dog out of the yard and put the dog in his vehicle. A relative of the victim happened to arrive and parked his truck behind the suspect. The suspect vehicle reportedly reversed striking the other truck and pushing it across the road. This caused a neighbor’s mailbox to be damaged when it was struck by one of the vehicles. The suspect vehicle then reportedly swerved towards both subjects and Pereira brandished a black handgun before leaving the area.

While the initial report was being taken, other CCSO Deputies began checking locations for the suspect. Edward Pereira was contacted in Campo Seco as he arrived in a vehicle matching the suspect’s description. The dog was recovered and Pereira was arrested.

During the investigation a handgun was located and seized from the suspect’s vehicle. Deputies learned that this incident started with a dispute over possession and ownership of the dog. Edward Pereira was booked in to the Calaveras County Jail on charges of Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Robbery, Vandalism, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and Felon in Possession of Ammunition with $145,000 bail.

How could there be a dispute over possession and ownership ?
Just cut the dog in half and see which way the parts gravitate.

Betcha he can't be bothered to vote for either party.

But if you wanted to discuss the criminality of Democrats vs. Republicans lets start with how many indictments, convictions and jailings have occurred for those involved with Trump vs. Obama. Oh, oh....Republicans win big in all categories. That is the true red wave, criminality.

The more of these stories I read the more I laugh at the stupid locals who live up there. How can you people even exist in society? I read that only 55% of registered voters even cast their ballot and voted. Stupid dope growers can't even get it right and conform to calif rules. You all deserve that Mills and Clapp characters. JUST IDIOTS all of you

Look here you dirty doping pot heads, we do not want this cultivation thingy. We do not want your kind and all the crime you bring. Ride the red wave, this blue wave is nothing but a snafu of fake news. Et al, see I know a lot and have seen a lot about a lot of lots of things! Pot turned me into a drug crazed sex addict and more, take it from someone whos done hard time and sold drugs to the kiddies. But now I'm a reformed good law abiding citizen that now insults race, certain groups, political choice, ect! Build the wall, Ban, cut down the trees go trump! Makes sense to me right alice?

And if I find out who wrote this making so it looks like I wrote it, they will be getting a subpoena. This is serious stuff and I'm sure Alice doesn't appreciate her being mocked either. Also, we will see who had the last laugh! BAN and MAGA!

Just got off the phone with one of my friends who is close to Allyce. She is doing good (considering the circumstances) and is ready to apologize to those she has offended in the past. We are so proud of her! Hopefully she will be out soon. She asked me to update everyone on Calaveras Enterprise so I figured here would be a good idea too.

      Thanks, Julie
