Spring Has Sprung and the Daffodil Days are Blooming at Ironstone Vineyards!
Murphys, CA...Spring has sprung and the daffodil days are blooming. Ironstone Vineyards welcomes the Northern California Daffodil Society for their regional daffodil bloom competition and the Calaveras Garden Club. The Daffodil Society will host their exhibit at the winery from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m on Saturday and Sunday March 15th & 16th....
Join the Daffodil Society at their annual dinner Alhambra Music Room on Saturday, March 15th at 6:30 p.m. Bob Spots will be making a special presentation on the daffodil exhibit. The cost for the dinner is $25 per person.
For Daffodil Days Ironstone Vineyards will be providing the parking for the Irish Day parade. People can park there and catch a continuously running shuttle to town.
The Northern California Daffodil Society will be present with their annual
bloom competition. People can see different displays of varieties of
daffodils.
There will have live music, A Parking Lot Sale, featuring the 2006 Obsession, which is rarely put on clearance. This is on Saturday and Sunday from 10 am. To 5 p.m. There will also be a barbecue from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Ironstone has 14 acres of approximately 500,000 daffodils in bloom during this time of year, creating a yellow field of blooms along the road and in the vineyards to the winery. They plant a total of 36 tons of flowers including daffodils, tulips, and wild flowers. They have 200 different types of daffodils, and 96 different types of tulips.
Go out to Ironstone for this absolutely gorgeous display of flowers!
