Mary Ruth Burdg Baker 1927 - 2018

San Andreas, CA...Mary Ruth Burdg Baker was born on September 25, 1927, in Stockton, California, to Walter Samuel Burdg and Rose Pearl Hackett Burdg. She peacefully entered into rest in San Andreas on October 7, 2018, at the age of 91. Mary worked as a waitress at various locations for over 20 years. Upon retirement, she enjoyed being a grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother.





She was preceded in death by her only child Beverley Jean Harrell Fischer and her devoted husband Gordon Wayne Baker. Mary is survived by her son-in-law Michael David Fischer Sr. of Paloma, grandchildren Michael David Fischer Jr. and wife Toni Ann of Valley Springs, Todd Gordon Fischer and wife Dineen of San Andreas, Michelle Denise Boitano and husband Tony of Mokelumne Hill and Kimberley Jean Ruthrauff and husband Eric of Mokelumne Hill.

Mary had 12 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 21, at 2 o'clock p.m. at the Mokelumne Hill Town Hall. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to Bristol Hospice 1803 West March Lane, Stockton, Ca. 95207
