That parade looks real, with real locals, real American standards. Unlike the Grape fest or whatever they call the invasion of flatlanders in Murphys last weekend. Real people, not plastic wine guzzling floozies from Modessto and beyond.

I'll agree with you on that. It's rather sad how bad and crowded
Murphys has become. Not just on the weekends anymore, it's almost 24/7. A minimum of
25 wine tasting rooms just in the two blocks of downtown Murphys.
I wonder how many of those people who come wine tasting get a buzz on
and then get in their vehicle and drive away? A once peaceful
      little town now has been
      ruined because of the tourist.
Yeah, yeah, tourist bring in money, but is it worth it to the
residents who live here? It has also brought in drunks,
high prices, litter, drugs, crime, drunk drivers every where and
mostly on weekends law enforcement looks the other way.
A once peaceful little town, never to be seen again.
Well that will never change now, like the rest of America our
little town will keep growing getting larger every year.
I miss the quietness of a weekend morning with my cup of
coffee as the suns rays first glimmers on the morning clouds.
Now down in Angels Camp because they elected to put in a by-pass
the tourist don't come so they decided to start allowing box
stores. The new one is Tractor Supply. Will this have an affect on one of our long standing place Called Spence Ranch Feed & Supply?
Damn good chance. What a shame, family owned and the city of Angels
just may of cut one of their owns, throat.
What cities and towns do to their citizens is rather sad. Pretty soon our little place just might turn into an area like Sonora. Big
box stores, more criminals, filthy, drug-using vagrants.
Shoot, might as well start up with the legal cultivation of
marijuana again at this rate what's the difference. Don't forget to let
      in an Indian Casino too.
It's just a matter of time, the greed is there.
Jeepers, I'm beginning to like grandpa.

Y'all have a good day, enjoy it, ya never know when your time
comes, like a drunk driver hitting you on the hwy after an afternoon of sipping wine.
