Oh my Gosh! Our cabin is less than 2.5 miles from this in Ganns Meadow! How in the hell did this one start? We barely survived the Ramsey Fire in 8/2012!

I have convinced myself that the damn whackadoodle selling "Witche's Brooms" on the Highway 4 Corridor is responsible for all of these fires! That man reeks of bad juju.

That's if you CAN get insurance. A lot of insurance carriers are opting out of providing insurance in California due to all the wildfires.

A lot of PG&E transformers and inline fuses right behind the maintenance building ? Also, one residence next to it ? Off road trail up there too ?

Fire was on the south side of the road, so no such luck blaming PG&E.
It is going to be interesting to here the hypocrisy coming from people when PG&E starts blasting open their utility easements. You can't have your cake and eat it too.

So sorry if you built your she shed on the easement, it has to go so we can dig it up.

You are correct - the PG&E lines run on the North side of Highway 4 up in that area. So if this was on the South side - I hope they are able to figure out how it started (cigarette butt, lightening?).
