Angels Camp's TJ Dillashaw Retains UFC Title & Extends Bantamweight Dominance

Los Angeles, CA...Angels Camp native TJ Dillashaw delivered a decisive first round knockout to challenger Cody Garbrandt on Saturday night in the Staples Center. He successfully defended his UFC Bantomweight title and is now arguably one of the best bantomweights in the sports history.

We gotta be proud of this young man. What he has done is beyond reality. Being on that stage and winning that many matches under pressure and pulling it off, no luck involved. He is good and I, tip my hat!! Very good work T.J.....

TJ's a hometown hero. What a winner and great success story.
Ask him who gave him that black eye, he'd tell you nobody GAVE it to him, he had to fight for it.

Yes congrats to TJ, many hard hours of work to be able to keep
going and defending his title. Don't slack off kid, that's the
downfall of many. That and the beating down of your body and
more importantly the violent bashing and abuse your brain has
    and will continue to take.

On a different note, I've seen a lot more tattoos on skanks then TJ
oh I'm sorry, that's not very PC of me. I've seen a lot more tattoos
on women who thinks it's cool to look like they're the ones
who have given STD to others and any critter with four legs.
Imagine the poor kids when they become aware of their friends
whispering behind their backs thinking their mom is an old
wrinkled up piece of washed up cum bag and full of disease.
Can you imagine a kid saying, "Hi Mrs Johnson, I like that tattoo
of the Japanese writing" No, that's the birth date of my first little girl born, Mercedes"
She now lives in Nevada and raises ...ah......bunnies, in a trailer park. Next to the Pantyhose Junction Truck Stop.

It’s pretty cool he is still announced as fighting out of “Angels Camp, Ca.” Too bad it doesn’t lead to much interest for wrestling or athletics in general for Bret Harte High School. Still majority of kids are into Pokémon cards or being little junior redneck mouth breathers.

We all chose a profession we enjoy doing for a long. His choise would be short lived for the normal person. Think about his hours and sweat in the gym. Needless to say, bumps, bruises, black eyes, all from friendly fire. Dedication is an understatement indeed. Congratulations to all the Dillashaws.

it isn't possible for him to do both at the same time. Who knows, maybe when he retires he will come back home. What not a lot of people know is that TJ's wrestling coach from high school teaches wrestling in our area still! he is humble about it but it pretty rad that he trained such a champion! He owns a winery in Murphys called Vina Moda.

A horrific and barbaric “sport”. It is violence, plain and simple.
Who would want their kid getting into this?
Thank god it has not translated into more interest .
Ps. This is not wrestling.
