Board of Supervisors to Discuss New Jail and the Slippery Slopes at Tuesdays Meeting and More

San Andreas, CA...The Board of Supervisors will be meeting on Tuesday March 4th at 9am. To top off the meeting, there will be a Minute Order authorizing a Budget Transfer to increase budget revenues and expenditures in the amount of $62,215.00 for payment of invoices for client-reimbursed building check and inspection services in excess of approved budget. This requires a 4/5 vote; The new SEIU contract will be discussed; Sheriff Downum will speak regarding a Resolution authorizing application for a Jail Assembly Bill 900 Construction Grant; There will also be two Study Sessions. The first one at 10:30am regarding the Sheriffs Department Staffing Analysis and Strategic Plan. The 2nd will take place after lunch at 1:30pm on the Driveway Slopes. County Council will be speaking on possible action approving an agreement to purchase real property for the construction of a new jail. The Full Agenda is enclosed for your viewing pleasure....
