Waverly Fire Final Tallies, 12,300 Acres, 100% Contained

Milton, CA...The totals are staggering but most of the damage was esthetic as it turned that area from a rich golden color to black. As much of the grass between Hwy 26 down to Hwy 4 was charred in the Milton & Waverly Road areas. Evacuations have been lifted and life can get back to normal in these areas...

never seen an official foot print of this fire as we have seen in other fires. would be nice to see exactly where it effected.

      In the picture, snapped in the darkness of a Wilton vineyard, Jack Kautz crouches behind a dead buck, smiling as he holds up the animal's head by its freakishly large set of antlers.

      It was a buck for the record books with sprawling antlers about an arm's width apart. If Katuz 52, had been had been able to claim it is a official trophy, he could have added it to his long list of accomplishments detailed on the website of his family's Lodi grape growing business, Ironstone Vineyards.

              Oh yeah, the cattle farms sell meats and diary to our local markets. We don't profit from those ranches. Same with olives and nut orchards, but hey at least we get some of the local honey. What a joke

                All food is in the back of a grocery store after shipment. So yes it does come from the warehousing grocer. Usually in the back of a grocery store.
