Two Outbuildings, One Vehicle Destroyed in 3 Acre Fire in Jupiter Area

Twain Harte, CA...From the Tuolumne Sheriff's Office..."Update 6:15 PM: The blaze has been contained at 3 acres with fire retardant containment. Deputies have cleared the scene as no further evacuations are needed. Forest Service Fire personnel remain on scene working to extinguish the flames.




Update 5:15 PM:
Two structures (outbuildings) and one car have been destroyed. Deputies continue to check on surrounding homes for possible evacuations as fire crews work on containment.

Original post 3:45 PM:
Fire Personnel and Sheriff’s Deputies are responding to a structure fire at 28580 Italian Bar Road near Rose Creek Circle, between Jupiter and Twain Harte.

One structure has been destroyed and four others are threatened. At this time there are no reports of injuries and everyone was outside of the homes when Deputies arrived. The fire has burned 2-4 acres of vegetation and fire crews are working towards containment. Deputies continue to check on surrounding homes for possible evacuations.
