BOS NEWS....13,000 Square Foot Medical Facility Heading to the New Copperopolis Towne Square Next Year~By John Hamilton

San Andreas, CA...Mark Twain St. Joseph's Facilities and Project Development Director, Larry Cornish addressed the Calaveras County Board of Supervisors this morning on all of the great things that are happening at the Hospital. He brought the Hospital's Business of the Year award up & also promoted an upcoming Job Fair that will be held at Toyon Middle School to showcase the healthcare jobs available in the area. One of the biggest news items in his update, was the announcement that the Mark Twain St. Joseph's Healthcare District will be building a 13,000 square foot medical facility in the new Copperopolis Towne Square....

This will be a complete, full service facility including Imaging and Cardiac Rehabilitation Services. Their Goal is to try and position the services that many Copperopolis residents need closer to where they live.

Supervisor Chair Wilensky asked Mr. Cornish if facilities will be included for the County's CALWorks program to use. Mr Cornish indicated that those facilities are already in and named in the plan.

He also reiterated that their Carmen's Cafe offers employee discounts to all county employees everyday.
