The Ebbetts Pass National Scenic Byway May Be Looking For You!
Arnold, CA...The Ebbetts Pass Scenic Byway Association (EPSBA) is soliciting proposals for the design and maintenance of a new website intended to promote the Ebbetts Pass National Scenic Byway, enhance the visitor experience and provide information about the history and features of the Byway....
The Ebbetts Pass National Scenic Byway is a 61 mile stretch of California Highways 4 and 89, between the towns of Arnold in Calaveras County and Markleeville in Alpine County. The Byway serves two state parks, Calaveras Big Trees and Grover Hot Springs, in addition to the Pacific Crest Trail, Bear Valley and the Stanislaus and Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forests. In 2006 the route was designated as a National Scenic Byway. Soon afterwards a local non-profit organization, the EPSBA, was founded to preserve, enhance and promote the unique resources of the Ebbetts Pass National Scenic Byway. The Association was awarded a federal highways grant towards these efforts and one of the tasks we intend to undertake immediately is the complete redesign of our existing website.
Interested designers should contact Michelle Plotnik at 209-728-8471 or michelle@scenic4.org to request a complete RFP package and associated reference materials. Proposals are due before March 18th, 2008.
