You either like him or hate him but keep in mind the demographics of the BOS is likely to change in November. That being said District 5 supervisor Clapp is unwavering in his stance on cannabis and is one important vote on the BOS. For the sake of the county please vote for him in November.

Yes, vote for the blubbering, blundering idiot who came to Calaveras on accident when he was 30 years old and now wants to prevent new 30-year-olds from doing the same. Can not wait to watch it all backfire.

You must be a HOOPPEL HEAD, When Clyde came to Calaveras, it was and is legal within the state and federal government to build houses. Growing your marijuana is not legal in Calaveras or under federal law. Even if the ban is removed at a later date by your crony, the illegals will come in and run you out or take you out.

Hey federal law idiots. Hear the one about Alice Johnson? She was just released from prison, her long sentence commuted by Trump. Was she doing time for cannibus? No....She was convicted of large scale cocaine trafficking. Her appeals were refused by the federal courts. Her request for a reduced sentence was rejected by federal prosecutors. Her review for clemency denied by Obama. But of course Trump being the smartest guy in the room figures she deserves clemency, based on recommendations from his dirt bag daughter and scumbag son-in-law. They are "advisers" by the way. Oh yeah, Kim Kardashian too. Sweet right? So next time you want to complain about drug users on the street please remember to thank the lying dumb---t in the whitehouse, Donald Trump, for putting cocaine traffickers on our streets. What a piece crap....And hey, why don't you folks throw a nice welcome home party for Alice. I'm sure she'd be happy to share some smack with you.

He shouldn't even be able to run for anything but clinical trials! The man is a disease! He beats elderly, spews *bleep* in the environment, lies, cheats, looks talks and acts like he's mentally retarded! This is who you represent? Tells me a lot about who you are if you vote for this fu*k boy!

Stopper better put his big boy pants on as his opposition is some of the dirtiest ever seen in this county.

Yet nearly 500 voters gave him their confidence. An indication of what level of sophistication exists in d5?

        Precisely.

If you voted for Clapp, you might as well don the signature armbands and hone your goosestepping skillset...

Unbelievable that these people have absolutely zero respect for the democratic process unless they get their way by its hand...

Every one of you Clapp voters should do the only honorable thing left for people like yourselves...

I'll let y'all take a guess as to what I'm insinuating...

It's california either leave it or love it! Clapp is done, he's just been added to the percentile of higher rate s.t.d's it this county. I can only hope my district could be a little smarter this time, marijuana aside we need someone with intelligence, someone to actually represent us. That is not clapp, to have the lack of commen sense and disregard for the rest of our community that isn't retired is so unprofessional, cruel and shamful. The ban is in effect so why are "you people" still crying? I will repeat myself again marijuana aside we deserve representation, the whole community. It's pretty simple.
