Drinks & Driving Lands Man in the Drink (Mokelumne River)

Jackson, CA...From the Amador Sheriff's Office..."Yesterday afternoon the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a pick-up truck that ran off Electra Road and came to rest upside down in the Mokelumne River. Two of our deputies responded and upon finding the truck partially submerged in the river they began shedding their gear in preparation for a rescue operation. Fortunately, the driver and sole occupant was cut free from the pick-up by a passing motorist and was sitting at the water's edge when we arrived.

Our deputies noted the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from the driver’s breath. As this was in the unincorporated area of Amador County, the investigation was turned over to the California Highway Patrol.

The driver of the vehicle, fortunate to have escaped with his life, was ultimately placed under arrest for driving under the influence. A good reminder to exercise caution in and around our waterways and certainly to never drink and drive."

So tired of these under the influence fools taking our resources and tax dollars. And you can be sure they're one of the first to complain about too much government in their lives telling them what they can and can't do.

Please don't let the facts get in the way of your opinion. This was alcohol-related. Maybe your issue as well as clearly reading comprehension not one of your stronger skills.

Never, of course. But can you imagine being the editor of these continuous, never ending story. Eventually you look for a novel intro line.

Because we can book him in the county jail, he'll post 10% of the minimum amount of bail because "we" can't afford to keep him in our new jail. The new jail that we'll be paying for decades on taxes and interest and then let him out to do it all over again. Hopefully he won't kill someone in between his drunk driving days between now and when they slap his wrist again.

In the picture, snapped in the darkness of a Wilton vineyard, Jack Kautz crouches behind a dead buck, smiling as he holds up the animal's head by its freakishly large set of antlers.

It was a buck for the record books with sprawling antlers about an arm's width apart. If Katuz 52, had been had been able to claim it is a official trophy, he could have added it to his long list of accomplishments detailed on the website of his family's Lodi grape growing business, Ironstone Vineyards.

Ok Roseanne. And one question, you are aware of the surrounding counties and ours, so what's with the trolling democrat repetitive retardation? Maybe it's because you don't vote either way so how would you even know the community percentage of political affiliation. Mostly republican you dumb ass hick. Stupid is as stupid does, just ask steven r smith with all his sociopathic wisdom.
