Clyde Clapp, Against the Asphalt Plant & Against Pot ~ Bob Vera

Rancho Calaveras, CA...I hope the people of District 5 will vote for Clyde Clapp for Supervisor. Clyde has proven himself with his dedication to his District and to the whole County. He was front and center standing up to fight the Asphalt Plant that they tried to shove down our throats. When he saw all of the criminals invading our County to grow Pot he decided to fight against it and he worked to change what the previous Board of Supervisors had created. In less than two years he gained the support to ban the Commercial Pot Grows.

Every week you can read stories in the papers of the criminals that are arrested and the huge damage that they have created by stripping homes inside walls and ceilings to turn them into grow houses. Many of these people are from China and from other parts of the world. The pollution that they leave behind in homes and on land where they decide to grow will take years to clean up. Clyde has no problem with the people who use Pot for medical reasons and he supports the 6 plants rule, but he will not allow our County to become a place where criminals and the homeless come to get high and do their crimes.

Clyde is a person that will always listen to your ideas and share his with you. Don’t be fooled by politicians who make promises and vote another way once elected.

Thank You,
Bob Vera

For all you dumb asses who think the Sheriffs Office receives a lot of money from dope your listening to people blowing bull. The Sheriffs Office can not hire more deputies with what little money they get. They can pay for some overtime but that’s it. Those signs by the old airport going into San Andreas that say the Sheriffs Office will get 11 million are nothing but a lie!!! Isn’t it a joke how Marijuana went from medical to recreational.

Anyone that would make threats about starting a fire, is the biggest POS of them all! You'd destroy innocent people's lives that have nothing to do with this pot, banner issue? Believe it or not, there's actually people living happily every day that aren't bothered by pot or banners bs. People that don't deserve to be threatened with fire!!! You should be investigated for making such threats moron!!! The pine tree needs to release the owner of the post threatening to start a fire to LE!

Okay Vera, once again you can't get the facts straight and you just keep making stuff up. The Sheriff has received a lot of funds, they aren't anymore because the three stooges won't give them anymore because they have cut the source of that income. And really, read the sign, it does not say $11 million to the sheriff, it says taxes, quit making this crap up! By the way, it was Tofanelli that put the sheriff's office in such a bad way back in his first term and the last group of supervisors help get them back in the black, now here he goes again and this time he has Clapp and Mills with him, sure, now collusion here...

Anyone voting for Merita Callaway is voting for more commercial marijuana, added other marijuana businesses, and cutting county services. Just check her website. Bad news.

District 5
Posted on: 2018-05-18 22:20:10   By: Anonymous

Why are so many from outside district 5 so interested in my district and choose vulgar and disparaging post against the man we voted to represent us? Because of the commercial marijuana growing and this is just one example of the damage done by criminals who have no respect for our county or it's citizens as they put their personal gains and profits in front of the good of our county. Clyde's opposition is not from his district and his opponent encourages it.

Oh FFS already!! The registered, REGULATED farms did nothing to harm the environment! If everyone is sooo godamn concerned about environmental damages, then WHY TF isn't anyone going after the farms that are actually harming the environment? ANSWER ME! I want to know what you morons are planning to do about the REAL bad players? Or was this entire bait & switch for no other reason but to rip good, hardworking people off? Everyones arguments about the environmental damages is bs unless you're willing to go after the actual source of it!

Excuse me! Did you not know how many people from YOUR district signed to get him out? Maybe you should open your eyes and ears like they have...the question that should be asked is 'Why have you not seen through this con man yet'...
