Hatcher Winery To Host Winemakers Event at Diamondback Grill in Sonora~By Lindsay Gwin
"We've got a great idea on how you could spice up your Monday evenings. Join us in the wine bar and meet winemakers while they pour their wines for you to sample. We absolutely love this idea of meeting the personalities that make the wine industry so fascinating. Currently we are booking various Mondays for winery principals to showcase their wares, answer questions and sign bottles. Yes, we will have plenty of product on hand to sell at a discount if after tasting you find you cannot live without some of the featured wines in your cellar....
I strongly encourage you to mark your calendar and drop by to see us for these unique face to face tasting opportunities. The events will begin at 5:30 and last until about 8pm, so there will be plenty of time to dine with us in the restaurant if you wish. There will be a $10 tasting fee ($5 for wine club members), however the fee will be waived if you purchase wine the night of the tasting.
On Monday, March 3rd Come meet Matt Hatcher and friends from Hatcher Winery in Murphys, California. We have had great success with Matt's wines at the Diamondback because our guests appreciate the fruit forward, food friendly flavor profiles they exhibit. You will too, so don't miss this event.
Matt will be pouring his Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Sewell Rhone Blend, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Franc, Barbera and his Tempranillo. The Syrah just received a rating or 88 points in the Wine Enthusiast Magazine. The Sewell Rhone Blend received a rating of 80 points. Come and meet Matt, ask questions and enjoy trying new local wines."
