Calaveras High School Drama will be Presenting "Cinderella" April 26-29

San Andreas, CA...Calaveras High School Drama is delighted to present Rodgers and Hammerstein's "Cinderella," the first full-length musical to take the stage at the Calaveras Performing Arts Center in over three years. The timeless enchantment of a magical fairy tale is reborn with the Rodgers & Hammerstein hallmarks of originality, charm and elegance. Originally presented on television in 1957 starring Julie Andrews, Rodgers & Hammerstein's CINDERELLA was the most widely viewed program in the history of the medium. As adapted for the stage, with great warmth and more than a touch of hilarity, the hearts of children and adults alike still soar when the slipper fits. Jillian Zahniser appears as the title character, Jared Bisbikis is Prince Topher, Madalyn Myers is Crazy Marie, Brooke Wooldridge is Madame, Jacob Young is Sebastian, Madeleine Hedger is Charlotte, Amaya Halepota is Gabrielle, Jordan Hoyopatubbi is Jean-Michel, and Colton Minehart is Lord Pinkleton. The ensemble includes Anthony Barci, Macy Liotta, Talina Landry, Samantha Leach, Ramon Marquez, Kathryn Frazier, Cleo Osgood, Kyra Allemand, Timothy Kelly, Marco Ortega, and Irene Melendez. Ann Mazzaferro directs, with Mason Anderson as Stage Manager and Cyndie Klorer as Technical Director.

Angela Allured conducts and serves as music director, with Marge Biagi Castro on piano and an orchestra that includes Kyle Barry, Ryan Hache, Michael Rourke, Zack Zahniser, Andrew Wydner, Mateo Alliende, Dean Keahey, Elizabeth Enderlein, Sophia Schlenz, Muriel Strange, Jack Tafoya, Giovanni Airola, Dylan Meidinger, Nicole Alfred, and Wyatt Ames.

Tickets are available at the box office one hour prior to the start of the show, or can be purchased online at chscinderella.bpt.me. The cost is $12 for adults, $9 for seniors over the age of 55, $7 for all active military members or veterans, and $5 for children ages 10 and under. Children under age 2 are free.
